Chicken Waterer Buying Guide

May 26,2022

When purchasing a long-lasting Dine A Chook chicken waterer you should consider the following:

  • The size of your flock. Average chicken drinks up to 500ml/day
  • How much time do you have to refill the drinker. eg based on the number of birds you have, one drinker may stay full for up to 2 days. Alternatively it may be empty every evening. If you have a large flock, it may be more practical to consider a drum drinker or a mains pressure drinker system
  • How big is your chicken run? It is important to station waterers so they are easily accessible.
